What to do with a lot of these fresh herbs?

Monday Jul 12, 2010

I have an herb garden and right now, my Dill and Cilantro are like over growing!! There’s so much of both of them idk what to do with all of it. Do u have any good recipes that include a good amount of Dill or Cilantro? I’m also growing Basil but I have a decent amount of that so not as much as the dill and cilantro, but still some. Anyways 10 points best recipe!! Thanx :)

Use dill on fish, tuna salad or over sauerkraut.

Cottage Dill Bread (substitute 1 tsp dill weed for the dill seed) I’ve made this bread at least 10 times in the past 4 years and it’s delicious with tuna salad.

Dill can be used in tuna and chicken salad and also cream type soups.
Cilantro can be used in mostly mexican dishes ’cause it’s like American parsley, put in chili , burritos, carne asada, tacos with the meat.

Salsa for the Cilantro, you could pickle some vegetables with the dill, otherwise you can dry them or freeze them (I like to put them in an ice cube tray with some water to cover, them freeze it)
