Enough sunlight peaks through the grooves but the direct sunlight is limited to 2 hours a day max.

This is in a sea country in the Middle East, so it is hot and humid in summer, warm to slightly cool in the evenings in winter. It is winter now, and there is no humidity. Temp around 28 -23 C.

I want to turn this area into a herb and vegetable garden. What types of herbs and vegetables could I grow under the above conditions? (baring in mind the current season).

Many thanks,

Today I didn’t know what happened to me. I was just running in the woods. It was dark and stormy. I slipped on some mud and hit my head. All I can remember was an old lady grabbing me by the hand and took me to her house.

Chapter 1
"Your awake Stella." the lady said "I’m Ms. Gomez." "Hello, Where am I?" I said. "Why’d you call me Stella ma’am?" "Well is says on your wristband. Poor thing you, I found you in a dirty dress just laying on the ground. Good thing Coco found you." "Coco?" "My dog." The old lady went to the kitchen and got some hot tomato soup and some green tea. She told me to eat up. The tea is delicious. Thanks Ms. Gomez." "Just call me Maria." she said. She told me she grew the herbs that was in this tea. She pointed to her garden where she grew all sorts of herbs, vegetables and fruit. After the meal she took the bowl and cup of tea and told me to get some rest. After she left I started to cry. I didnt know where I came from. I don’t even know my own name. I cried to sleep.

First of all I’m only 11 so don’t say
"this is a piece if s**t"

I want green peppers, tomatoes..at this point I get lost. It does get full sun. I might also get a 2nd plot.

Are there vegetables that grow better together, and some that cannot be grown with others? Just help with planning a basic garden…no herbs, don’t have the experience. Help?

Can I also plant flowers? I know some are edible, which ones?

Thank you so much..I am quite excited about this.

Oh…this area got hit by tomato blight last year. So far the year has been unnaturally damp. Should I forgo tomatoes altogether?

My dad put pest moss and manure in his garden. Should I? I don’t know the PH, its in a lot where a building was tore down; lots of bits of crumbled brick, etc, in the soil.
Thanks for all the help!

That way my garden will get bigger and bigger every year!

I have giant bruises all over my body and I, generally, have no idea how I got the bruises. It’s embarrassing, painful and just plain ugly. I take iron supplements but it does not seem to help. I put arnica ointment on the bruises once I have them, and that helps… but is there any way I can prevent them? I am not doing anything outrageous that would warrant bruises like this… just everyday activities. Suggestions? Oh… when I go to the doctor for tests, they have huge problems drawing blood… I’m sure this is related.
I am a vegetarian and have been for 17 years… I’ve ALWAYS been this way. I do eat alot of vegetables… and I would argue that I get more protein from soy/tofu/seitan than most meat eaters… but I still bruise like crazy. In fact, all of the women in my family do… but surely there is SOMETHING that can be done?

i’ve been joining a health product association more than 3 years already but i only ate a few quantity of product because i find it very expensive but somehow i can feel the effectiveness of the product.is there any product out there which is effective, affordable, organic, wholesome &etc. or can we buy the herbs ourself and boil the herbs before consuming.is that also effective compare to prepared in pill or other form found in market.actually i know money cannot buy health but if we spend to much on health product that eventually distubing other aspects of our life than it would be meaningless as well, is it. so i want to find economical way to take care of my family health.

maybe some of you would say eat less cholesterol, exercise more ,eat less junk food , eat more fiber or vegetables, sleep well and do not stress too much but nowadays those mentioned ways only partly worked we still need other kind of supplements to take care of our complex body.
