Hello, I am trying my hand at herb growing. I live in growing zone 7 if that helps. I want to grow basil, mexican oregano, dill, chives, lemon tyme and parsley. Should they all be in the same pot? How deep should the pot be? How much water do I give them? etc. stuff like that. They will be outside in summer and inside in winter.

I just need to know some herbs to smoke that can get you high. My life has been really crappy lately and I just need something to help me get away. Please don’t lecture me and please give me honest answers. I’ve heard of salvia but I’m not 18 yet and pot is an option but I’m not sure I want to try it yet. Any household herbs or anything? Even an hallucinogenic would be fine. Thank you.

I want to plant an herb garden with garlic, kale, chives, sage and maybe a few others. I also want to plant tomatoes and a few other veggies. I only have a balcony at my apartment so these will all be in pots. Can I plant anytime of the year? Like now>? I’m in Cali so weather is pretty good. Also besides tomatoes what Veggies will do best in a big pot? Any suggenstions?

I bought a mixed herb pot from a garden shop that had a tomato plant as well. The tomato plant is infected with tomato blight and it seems like it has spread to the basil and the dill in the pot. My rose bush nearby and my rhubarb plant also have yellowing leaves with dark spots on them as well.
Here is what the tomato blight looks like

I don’t really have a garden…just a big rhubarb plant, a rose bush and a pot full of herbs.

My brother is serving in Iraq, and I thought it would be neat to send him a little herb garden kit (includes pot, those little peat plugs and seeds).

I am starting my first herb garden. Decided to go with a container because it is easy to control how much sun it is getting, and for easier harvesting. Anyway I have Two basil plants that are about 6-7 inches tall, One thyme plant that looks mature, and a cilantro plant that is only about 3 inches wide right now. Will these get along in my ceramic glazed 10" pot? Let me know any tips you have too! Thanks
