Can you make Smokable "Rocks" from extracted plant material?

I know you can make crack rocks from boiling water with cocaine, baking soda, and ice. I want to know if it’s possible to make rocks from something other than cocaine, like herbs or plants extracts in place of water, and minus the cocaine ( obviously ) or if there’s any other way to make rocks from plants or herbs that you can smoke?

I’m talking about legal herbs or flowers, not pot.

Will these herbs grow well in 10in diam x 10in high pots?

German chamomile, parsley, basil, catnip and other various mints, and dill? I would grow them in my herb garden but for now that’s exclusively for perennials until I’m done planting perennials and figure out how much space I have for annuals. The only one I don’t think would do well in a pot is dill, but I’d like some outside opinions :)

I need some help starting my herb garden?

My dad just built me a greenhouse for my 16th birthday because growing an herb garden has been something I’ve wanted to do for a while now. Unfortunately, we’ve had a lot of rain lately and he hasn’t been able to finish it. I started some of the herbs in pots (I have peppermint, rosemary, and lemongrass) and I could really use some starting tips on growing them, both in a pot and a greenhouse, cutting them, drying them, and if anyone has some recipes or methods for making teas or tinctures that would be great! Any advice would be appreciated :)

What is a great type of plant to grow indoors?

Hello! I’m a high school student. I’m thinking about growing my own plants indoor, just for fun. I’m really like my Science classes (especially biology) and I find that taking time out of your day to admire nature can be quite calming.

I would like to start planting a single plant indoors. I live in Toronto, Canada and we’re currently headed into summer but since my room is in the basement it’s a bit cooler than the upstairs and most of the sunlight that comes in is through small windows no taller than 30cm or about a foot if your American and maybe 50 cm wide.

I’m still sort of not sure what type of plant I should go for. Just for fun, beauty maybe some herbs or a bit of everything? I don’t mind spending too much on initial costs like seeds and a pot but I’m not to sure about fertilizing plants since I am relatively new to this (We have a small garden in our backyard but I’m not sure if we fertilize it). What would you recommend for me? I think if all goes well and I really enjoy this plant, I may choose to grow more and have like a miniature indoor garden in a some what wide container (this would most likely happen once I hit University).

Thanks a lot for the help, I do truly appreciate it.

Want to start a perennial and then separate annual herb garden?

So mainly my questions are which are which and some recommendations for herbs to plant in each. I already have Chives and Lemon Balm planted somewhere else and I’m not planning on putting them in my new garden area.

Perennials (I think) that I have:

rosemary cuttings and sage that I just got from my neighbor, then some catnip which will probably go in a pot because I don’t want it taking over. I also want to get some lavender. There will most likely still be space so I’m looking for other recommendations! Preferably some with a lot of uses, perhaps both culinary and medicinal– I’m interested in both.

Annuals:

A lot… Too many, probably. I have parsley (I know it’s a biennial but I’ll be growing it as an annual) sweet basil, cilantro, dill, chamomile, and echinacea. I think those are all annuals, correct me if I’m wrong. Other than those, any recommendations for others? Like I said, both medicinal and culinary are fine :)

I’m also wondering which if any, can be grown in pots because I may just do that with the annuals instead of have an extra herb garden for them.

R&P… Are you ready to save the earth?

In case you didn’t know, tomorrow is Earth Day, and today I went to do some community service at a community garden, and I must say that I feel good after doing that. I got back a bunch of seeds they didn’t want, and that felt great. I’m probably gonna plant some herbs and flowers in a pot and place it on my desk and smell it and tell them how pretty they are everyday. Sounds good? But anyways…

to the question!!!

-> What’s your favorite song about anything related to nature? (Whether it be title, lyrics, or meaning, whatever. Whatever floats your boat.)

BQ: If you could plant anything you wanted, and it would grow no matter how much you neglect it, what would you plant?

BBQ(yum): Favorite fruit or veggie?

BBBQ: What’s your favorite flower?

Enjoy! And let’s save the earth together, my amazing rock and poppers!
