Being sick this weekend made me drink 20 cups of herbal tea mix against bronchitis. then I thought to myself that maybe some of the plants used to treat different symptoms might be more effective via "smoke" of the herbal tea.

Yet, I really couldn’t find any reference to that on the internet.

Does anyone know of a clinical research that was trying to validate the effect of herbal tea extracts via smoking it?

PS
I know of the tar problem so let’s assume that was the only thing that we had to worry about…. OK?

Thanks, waiting for some interesting thoughts!

Mixed cow manure with humus with good good garden soil from Lowes, and planted some plants and herbs in it.

I think using the cow manure was a bad idea because I noticed it stinks in the garden, attracts flies, and I think it is sufuorcating or burning the roots of some of my plants.

I even dug one plant up to save it and found maggots underneath it with a stench of cow manure.

Do you guys use cow manure? Also, I’m going for organic, does using cow manure invalidate that my crops are organic?

Did I use it wrong or something? A lot of my other plants seem to be doing ok, although I’m worried how they’ll turn out.

I’m thinking about just not watering them for awhile and letting everything dry out as everything seems damp.

Is that a good idea?

Have been using a hose with a nozzle to water them, but I can tell they didn’t like that at all, as the spray was too much, and too much water got on the leaves.

Now using a misting system that distributes water evenly, and only mists the leaves, as the water drips into the roots.

The plants are doing much better.

But, usually watering twice a day because it’s hot.

Someone said if I let them dry out for a day or two then they’ll grow even better, because they roots will grow deeper, as they search for more water.

So should I maybe skip the daily watering routine, and see what happens? I’m hesitant because my plants like the mist and it shows! Especially during this heat wave, hot!
