i have serious cramps and have tried everything, and im over dosing on ibuprofen and midol and its taring up my stomache, i get really nausea on my periods and cant move. so im looking for the best herbs and remedies (not including pills) to help my serious cramps. i heard about ginger tea and cramp bark. whats the best herbs and remedies? plz help bfor i die from cramps!!
hot water and heating pads make it worse…does cramp bark work really good?

I have a 3 meter by 1 meter outdoor area attached to my kitchen, paved, and has restricted sun access because it is roofed and has a wooden panel that looks like this http://www.tradeindia.com/selloffer/2571690/Punched-Hole.html

Enough sunlight peaks through the grooves but the direct sunlight is limited to 2 hours a day max.

This is in a sea country in the Middle East, so it is hot and humid in summer, warm to slightly cool in the evenings in winter. It is winter now, and there is no humidity. Temp around 28 -23 C.

I want to turn this area into a herb and vegetable garden. What types of herbs and vegetables could I grow under the above conditions? (baring in mind the current season).

I’m getting my cousin a home herb garden for christmas, but I still need to get her about 5-10 dollars more stuff for our secret santa gift exchange. what would be a cute kitchen item I could get her to go with the herbs?

Little flies around my indoor herb garden — how do I get rid of them?

I live in an apartment with no patio and I have an indoor organic windowsill herb garden of 5 herbs.

I just noticed there are little, tiny flies on my herbs and I’d like to know a way I can get rid of those suckers without using any chemicals on the herbs.

Any indoor gardeners have advice for me?

I’m interested in starting a vegetable/herb garden at home, but I am an absolute beginner. I don’t have much space in my backyard (9 m square), and was thinking it might be a good idea to start growing things in pots. I’d like to grow some herbs and basic salad vegetables, like lettuces, cucumbers and tomatoes.
I’d like some suggestions of where would be a good place to start for someone who’s never gardened before and who’s worried about killing more things than I grow.
Any advice is welcome and greatly appreciated.

I’m reading online and I’m not having an exact definition.
Is it about ‘home remedies’ and having medication replaced by herbs and such?
