MORE CFL Grow Light Fixture Results in Hydroponics (Bell Peppers!)

More results of my home-made DIY grow lights. If you’d like to share your construction variation or results, upload a photo at www.tinypic.com and send me the link. I’ll post it in the info box to share with everyone. I planted these Bell Peppers from seed on July 9th, 2009. I took this video on November 15th 2009. I started to get peppers at the end of September. I currently have about 15 peppers on the plants. The more I pollinate, the more peppers I get. It’s really a pepper machine! I’m using a mix of two 300 Watt, 2700k bulbs and two 200 Watt 6700k bulbs. I had 4 200 Watt 6700k bulbs at the start until flowers appeared. I had a few unused fluorescent bulbs that I added above them for a little extra kick. I’m convinced that these lights can handle anything you would want to grow since these are doing so well. Bell Peppers are going for .00-.50 USD each. This will pay for itself. I’m going to pollinate them more to see if I can max them out. I had no idea when I started them that they would get so big. They are doing twice as good as the ones I plant outside in the Summer. I’ll be experimenting with other vegetable and posting results as well as building a few new goodies.
