Gourmet Chia Herb Garden Plus Mint a friend gave me?

I would like to grow some Herbs to cook with, this kit gave me the Ideal or my friend did to she gave me MINT to start grown, to put in my Tea, I like it. Then I seen the Kit. The kit has Parsley, Dill, Chives, Basil, Cilantro & Marjoram. would like to grow more but need some Ideals of others on Herbs to grow? And where to buy them?

Garden plants rabbits will/won't eat?

I want to plant my herbs in a lawn garden to make it (less ugly & bare) prettier, but I don’t want to have the rabbits eating them away, so which ones will they eat & which will they leave alone? Currently I have:
Common sage
Rosemary
Lavender
Lavender mint (peppermint)
Sweet mint (spearmint)
Candy mint (peppermint)
Sweet basil
Dill (dwarf)
Cilantro, basil, parsley & dill seedlings
I know the basil doesn’t stand a chance undefended & the mints are too aggressive plus need defended, but what about the dill, rosemary, sage & lavender? Will the rabbits eat them?
FWIW they are domestic rabbits someone let loose a few (rabbit) generations ago, not true wild rabbits.

Ugh & will chickens eat them?? They’ve gotten into the garden (vegetable) even though it’s fenced off & have yet to eat anything.
Do you have sweet basil or something else? (I know they don’t like cinnamon basil for example) I have a few caged rabbits & they love, love, love the sweet basil & sweet mint when I give them pieces.

Want to start a perennial and then separate annual herb garden?

So mainly my questions are which are which and some recommendations for herbs to plant in each. I already have Chives and Lemon Balm planted somewhere else and I’m not planning on putting them in my new garden area.

Perennials (I think) that I have:

rosemary cuttings and sage that I just got from my neighbor, then some catnip which will probably go in a pot because I don’t want it taking over. I also want to get some lavender. There will most likely still be space so I’m looking for other recommendations! Preferably some with a lot of uses, perhaps both culinary and medicinal– I’m interested in both.

Annuals:

A lot… Too many, probably. I have parsley (I know it’s a biennial but I’ll be growing it as an annual) sweet basil, cilantro, dill, chamomile, and echinacea. I think those are all annuals, correct me if I’m wrong. Other than those, any recommendations for others? Like I said, both medicinal and culinary are fine

I’m also wondering which if any, can be grown in pots because I may just do that with the annuals instead of have an extra herb garden for them.

What herbs should I include in a small kitchen garden?

I have the soil prepared, and I’m making my list for the seeds going on sale next week. This is what I have on the list so far:

Basil
Oregano
Thyme
Chives
Dill
Cilantro

Am I overlooking something very common?

What other culinary herbs should I plant in my herb garden?

Right now I only have parsley, cilantro, and sweet basil. I also have some dill that I’m going to plant. I also have some chives from a few years ago ( i tend to forget its there lol ) I also want to plant some medicinal/tea herbs which I already have seeds for; chamomile, catnip, ecchinacea to name a few. On my list of culinary herbs to get I can only think of oregano and marjoram offhand. I also need plants that don’t get too large, perhas only a few feet at the most, since I have limited space. Also due to limited space, I’d prefer some herbs with many uses.

Why won't my parsley grow?

I have an indoor windowsill herb garden. All the other herbs (basil, thyme, cilantro, chives) have done great. This is my second try planting parsley, and there’s nothing sprouting so far. I gave it about 3 months before I replanted it. What can I do to make sure it grows now?

What’s easy to grow in a garden? Iknow I’m going to grow lots of tomatoes cuz I can them for things, and I want carrots and fingerling potatos and and some kind of hot pepper. I’m also going to grow ( in separate flower pots) chives, cilantro and basil, and probably some other herbs I haven’t decided on yet.

How to get rid of mites on young herbs?

I noticed many teeny white to whitish-green mites on the undersides of my sage, basil, catnip, and cilantro plants today. The plants are about a month old (from seed) so they are only about 1 inch and have only 1 or 2 sets of true leaves. Can I use Schulz Houseplant and Garden insect spray, or would that be too harsh? What are your experiences with mites on young plants?

I will be planting my own garden for the first time this spring. I am unsure which vegetables work best together or if some do not work well at planting together at all. I don’t think I will be doing any herbs (possibly cilantro) or flowers.

Hi! I would like to start some veggies and herbs in pots on my patio. I have a lot of space in the backyard in direct sunlight too if needed. I just rent instead of owning so I don’t want to plant in the ground.

What veggies and herbs are the easiest to grow?
What supplies do I need to get started?
Which grow best in my environment? (I live on Oahu, Hawaii, about 100 yards from the beach, 80 degrees year round…lots of salt in the air)

I’m mostly interested in growing everyday cooking herbs like parsley, basil, rosemary, cilantro and chives would be awesome. Veggie wise I would love to grow bell peppers, jalapenos, tomatoes (cherry or roma?), and other ones that would work well in pots.

I have never tried to grow anything in my life, but I love to cook and I hate having to run to the store for green onions, peppers and stuff like that all the time, so any advice is greatly appreciated!!!
