We’re growing dill, parsley, chives and basil. Or might it be bad once we consume them? We didn’t read the instructions properly so we’ve been giving it everyday instead of once a week but they are growing anyway, will just do it once a week now though. The stuff we’re usiing is called "Feed Me" (a small yellow bottle of concentrate that makes 80 litres supposedly) Also trying to grow tomatoes and wild strawberries. All in pots on our kitchen windowsill, lol. But we also put them outside on a table in the back garden during the day. Never tried to grow anything before so all very new to us. Thanks.
Manure tea, I’m empty reaching here…..ahhh,ahhhh….lol Kitchen would smell like a toilet me thinks…..In the pots we just have regular earth mixed with something called "coco peat" that we bought.
Thanks but it’s not called Orchid fertiliser, it’s simply called "Feed Me", made by some company called "151" http://www.151.co.uk/index.html I can’t see the fertaliser at their site, maybe they no longer make it, it was only about €2/ anyway.

German chamomile, parsley, basil, catnip and other various mints, and dill? I would grow them in my herb garden but for now that’s exclusively for perennials until I’m done planting perennials and figure out how much space I have for annuals. The only one I don’t think would do well in a pot is dill, but I’d like some outside opinions

I have the soil prepared, and I’m making my list for the seeds going on sale next week. This is what I have on the list so far:
Basil
Oregano
Thyme
Chives
Dill
Cilantro
Am I overlooking something very common?
Parsely! See? That is why I asked!

Prepping some bean threads (noodles) then using the hot water to cook lentils. What herbs from my garden should I cook with the lentils? I have chives, thyme, organo, basil, rosemary, and tarragon. Also, the lentils bag says not to salt during cooking, but I’ve never had a problem with that – any comments? Thanks to all who reply!

I plan on clearing out much of my backyard and redoing it. I had planned on raising chickens however decided on ducks. Next to the duck’s house will be a pond full of plants for them to eat. However, the pond will be big enough that we will harvest Tilapia in it. We will be planting duckweed which both ducks and tilapia eat inside the pond. We will be knocking out our old playhouse in the backyard, and planting three honey-crisp apple trees. We will be also planting a peach tree and a cherry tree where out other two trees died. Inside, we are planning on bringing a Meyer’s lemon tree which only grows to be a few feet. Also, around the bamboo we plan on planting some bamboo which we will be able to eat. We added a compost to help make our soil much more fertile. We will also be expanding our vegetable garden. We so far have started our seedlings of: onions, leeks, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, and a few others. We also have planted Cilantro, Basil, Rosemary, and one other herb I cannot remember. Anyway, I just wanted to know everyones thoughts on the whole plan. If anybody has suggestions on how to improve it or even anything to add I would be thrilled. Thanks again!
