What is an all-natural pesticide for my herbs?

What is something i can put on my herbs that won’t be harmful when I digest? I’ve seen other people suggest a dish soap water solution spray but is that safe to put on my herbs that I use for cooking? I have these little black bugs (mixture between what looks like black ants and fleas) in my potted herbs. I also noticed last night white larvae looking things on my basil stems. Any all natural suggestions to get rid of these would be great. If the dish soap thing is the way to go, anyone have a good solution recipe? Thanks!

Where can I find a wide range of individually planted herbs?

My fiancee and I are having a "garden" wedding, and we’ve decided to name all the tables a different herb instead of a table number. When our guests go to check their seating assignments card, we want the card to be sticking out of a little clay pot with the actual herb in the pot. (i.e. Basil Table – John and Sally Smith) Is there a place that sells a wide range of herbs all ready planted?

Smoking green tea and other herbs facts and advice?

Hey everyone. I have read lots of articles on the web regarding the nutrients of green tea and basil. They are both extremely good remedies for colds and other things. However, I have seen lots of articles on another way of getting nutrients from tea…smoking it. Can you actually still get nutrients from green tea by smoking it? Does it have a buzz affect or is it just a placebo? Basil smoking isn’t as well known as green tea smoking, but can you get nutrients from smoking basil as well? Can it give you a buzz or high or, again, is it just placebo? Also, are there any major health risks related to smoking these plants that are significant of those related to tobbaco or cannabis? Thanks a ton

Buying basic herb plants in New York City?

I’m interested in starting an herb garden in my Harlem apartment, but I don’t know where in the city to go for gardening supplies and plants. All the massive gardens are in lower Manhattan, but if I just want simple things like mint or basil, is there a more convenient location?

Is it ok to give herbs an all purpose plant and vegetable feed to help them grow?

We’re growing dill, parsley, chives and basil. Or might it be bad once we consume them? We didn’t read the instructions properly so we’ve been giving it everyday instead of once a week but they are growing anyway, will just do it once a week now though. The stuff we’re usiing is called "Feed Me" (a small yellow bottle of concentrate that makes 80 litres supposedly) Also trying to grow tomatoes and wild strawberries. All in pots on our kitchen windowsill, lol. But we also put them outside on a table in the back garden during the day. Never tried to grow anything before so all very new to us. Thanks.
Manure tea, I’m empty reaching here…..ahhh,ahhhh….lol Kitchen would smell like a toilet me thinks…..In the pots we just have regular earth mixed with something called "coco peat" that we bought.
Thanks but it’s not called Orchid fertiliser, it’s simply called "Feed Me", made by some company called "151" http://www.151.co.uk/index.html I can’t see the fertaliser at their site, maybe they no longer make it, it was only about €2/ anyway.
