what do you use on your plants to keep them chemical free but to encourage growth?
i’m talking about mainly herbs & vegetables
chives/oregano/basil etc
onions/carrots/radish/lettuce/tomatoes etc
i have potted all the seeds indoors and they are about 3" average just now and wont be planting outside for a few weeks yet but wondered what you use to encourage growth
thank you

Just cut a TON of Rosemary & Thyme from the garden b4 the weather gets too cold. What’s the best way to preserve? I’d like to dry some and keep a few fresh stems as well for cooking during the next couple of weeks.

I don’t have access to many health stores, etc. So any common vitamins or herbs or even foods that can help boost the emotional level of someone depressed, suffering from Anxiety would be great. P.S. I’ll have to slip it into his lifestyle, he’s not real open to this kind of thing. So it has to be normal food & stuff, that I can just have around the house for him to dig into when he’s ready. Thanks

I live in in Phoenix AZ and really want my backyard full of beautiful plants, mainly flowers & herbs. With little kids around I don’t want cactus or poisonous plants. I know I’ll have aloe vera, rosemary and mint.
Most of the yard gets little shade (late afternoon only). What kind of plants should I plant & when? I hate killing them all the time
I have the opposite of a green thumb. Help Desert Gardeners!!!!!!!!

I’m planting herbs, fruit & vegetables, and flowers in my yard and I’m wondering how to keep squirrels (& any other animals) from eating and/or destroying them. I’ve heard of using coffee or cayenne pepper, but I wasn’t sure if this would effect the taste of the herbs & fruits & veggies.
Thanks!
