Herbals teas are on the ‘be careful’ or ‘forbidden list’.

I would find out exactly what’s in it and check with your doctor. Herbal supplements and teas were forbidden by my doctor because even herbal teas that adults can drink without any problems can contain elements that may induce labor, especially early in pregnancy as well as a trace amounts of other plants that may be harmful to a child in utero.

For example, I was told to stop drinking my camomile tea before bed and to not have any for the rest of my pregnancy.

My doctor directed me to either skip herbal teas all together or bring the list of ingredients (complete) to my next appointment to have it reviewed and checked to see if it contains anything harmful.

So, I went from being an avid tea drinker to being a ‘tea teetotaller".

I have already decided that after the baby is born, I am sending my husband to Tim Horton’s to bring me back two or three large teas which I am going to lie in my hospital bed and slowly drink in absolute happiness.

I have not tried this tea, but since it is herbal it should be fine to drink while pregnant. Herbal teas are usually naturally decaffenated, so enjoy! : ) It will probably be soothing! Also, sometimes having a cup of caffiene is okay! Just don’t drink more than two cups a day, that is what my doctor said!

Congrats on your baby to be!!!!
