Im making raised beds in my back yard because half of the yard floods when it rains. I would like to be able to grow fruits, veggies and herbs. Im very new to gardening so any help would be appreciated.

There is a planting chart in the document for Louisiana. Also, try the square foot gardening method in the second link. Saves time, space and less water and weeding. Good luck!
