herbs, parsley?

I have some flat leaf parsley plants growning in my garden…I see they have grown alot in the last week…they have tall stems, with blossoms on the ends. What i was wondering is, is there some way i can cut them down and replant the stems in a pot ?
I want to leave the plant outside, just want to get a portion of it off…….the tall stalks are what makes me wonder. What are the blossoms? Seeds?
What type of pot is the best for indoors?

Dig them up….roots and all…be careful not to disturb the roots too much, just leave all the dirt on them….then place them in the pot and water them a little…..don’t give them too much sun though.

the blossoms will produce seeds and if you want to use the parsley for cooking you should remove the flowers. the herb is at it’s prime just before it flowers and this is the best time to harvest. I dont know about starting cuttings but you might try dividing the clumps and moving one piece to a another pot or location. This is a very easy plant to start from seed also.
