Today I didn’t know what happened to me. I was just running in the woods. It was dark and stormy. I slipped on some mud and hit my head. All I can remember was an old lady grabbing me by the hand and took me to her house.
Chapter 1
"Your awake Stella." the lady said "I’m Ms. Gomez." "Hello, Where am I?" I said. "Why’d you call me Stella ma’am?" "Well is says on your wristband. Poor thing you, I found you in a dirty dress just laying on the ground. Good thing Coco found you." "Coco?" "My dog." The old lady went to the kitchen and got some hot tomato soup and some green tea. She told me to eat up. The tea is delicious. Thanks Ms. Gomez." "Just call me Maria." she said. She told me she grew the herbs that was in this tea. She pointed to her garden where she grew all sorts of herbs, vegetables and fruit. After the meal she took the bowl and cup of tea and told me to get some rest. After she left I started to cry. I didnt know where I came from. I don’t even know my own name. I cried to sleep.
First of all I’m only 11 so don’t say
"this is a piece if s**t"

Mixed cow manure with humus with good good garden soil from Lowes, and planted some plants and herbs in it.
I think using the cow manure was a bad idea because I noticed it stinks in the garden, attracts flies, and I think it is sufuorcating or burning the roots of some of my plants.
I even dug one plant up to save it and found maggots underneath it with a stench of cow manure.
Do you guys use cow manure? Also, I’m going for organic, does using cow manure invalidate that my crops are organic?
Did I use it wrong or something? A lot of my other plants seem to be doing ok, although I’m worried how they’ll turn out.
I’m thinking about just not watering them for awhile and letting everything dry out as everything seems damp.
Is that a good idea?

I am trying to take steps towards making my house greener. I don’t use a ton of different cleaners, but the ones I use I love. I’ve seen articles on what you can use as substitutes both pre-made products (gotten from the store) or things you can make yourself. I would like opinions from real people. Here are the cleaners I currently use & am looking to replace with something that works as well.
Lysol 4-in-1 (for everything from kitchen to bathroom)
Windex
Shout (I’m a waitress & it works wonders on my white shirt cuffs & worry about straying because it works so well for me)
Clorox Toilet Cleaner Wand
Any advice would be nice. I’m starting here & eventually moving to a garden where I can grow many of my own veggies & herbs (eventually for making my own baby food when that time comes) I have many many ideas & none of them are a huge challenge or sacrifice, I just need to start. Starting with the cleaners! Help please!

Have a few annual and perennial herbs in the garden.
Have been using a hose with a nozzle to water them, but I can tell they didn’t like that at all, as the spray was too much, and too much water got on the leaves.
Now using a misting system that distributes water evenly, and only mists the leaves, as the water drips into the roots.
The plants are doing much better.
But, usually watering twice a day because it’s hot.
Someone said if I let them dry out for a day or two then they’ll grow even better, because they roots will grow deeper, as they search for more water.
So should I maybe skip the daily watering routine, and see what happens? I’m hesitant because my plants like the mist and it shows! Especially during this heat wave, hot!
