for instance "chinese herb garden" or "bee keeping". Just something I could make an ebook out of or sell easily online.

There are so many possible niches & subniches that it’s ridiculous to attempt to list them. As for choosing a niche/subniche, you have to choose something you are passionate AND knowledgeable about. If you try to write an ebook to make money and know diddly about it, you reputation is ruined and so is your biz.

If you are a beekeeper, for example, then go for beekeeping and teach others how to start this as a hobby. You can help others learn from your experience, including being up-front about the mistakes you made along the way and how to avoid them,

Go with what you know — and make sure you are an expert!

search ‘google keyword tool’ and use the adword tool that comes up either first or second on the list. There you can find out how often keywords are searched for and figure out some niches that draw a lot of searches.

Takes a bit of time, but definitely some great info.

Well I personally had a few ideas but had no idea where to start – and I suffered from the usual ‘how can i succeed when other people are doing this already’ but I saw on tv this home business concept and whilst it looked a scam (and I never ventured into it) it did bring to my attention this piece of software called Micro Niche Finder. Not sure if you have heard of it. It helps to direct you to narrow down a niche based on key words that people are searching on the internet and where there is hardly no or no competition.

Anyway I bought it and then used it for what I needed (and it helped me) and then I got my money back.

Its worth a shot to help to find a market – and you can get your money back so thats even better.
