Are there any herbs or supplements that can LOWER my sperm count?

Monday Sep 6, 2010

My fiancee’ wont get back on the pill, and I keep breaking condoms. We will still use condoms even tho 9 out of ten times they break. Since there is no male form of both control, and all I can do is wear a condom, I was hoping ot somehow lower my spern count. This way if a condom breaks again, and some of my little guys get out, at least there will be less of them. Are there any herbs or natural ways to lower my sperm count?
I’m putting the condoms on right. It breaks before I ejaculate and its because of how vigorously we do the deed

well spermicide works, so do many things you can put inside her lady parts, and if the condom breaks that much then i’m 99% sure you are putting it on wrong, you need to hold the tip then role it down then smooth it out and make sure there is plenty of room on the end for your sperm.

yellow 5 lowers it – Mountain dew has a lot of that in it…

Also marijuana…

I don’t know about supplements, but the testicles, to produce sperm, need to be cooler than the body.
So theoretically, by somehow keeping your balls warm, you could lower your count.

You could also masturbate more often to try to ‘clean yourself out’

Well, as far as herbs go, marijuana has been said to lower sperm count. However, European scientific studies have shown that pot doesn’t actually lower your sperm count but, more or less, makes them lazy. This depends, however, on how "high" you get. In their clinical trials, it was observed that in those who smoked very little and only attained a "buzz," the sperm were more active and appeared highly energetic (increasing their likely-hood of fertilizing an egg). In those who got "high," the sperm tended to be less active and typically swam around in circles, if little more than twitch (meaning there’s less of a chance that the sperm make it to the egg at all). Needless to say, marijuana probably shouldn’t be on your top 10 list of ways to not get your woman pregnant.

As far as busting condoms, I recommend using some water based, spermicidal lubricant (KY, for instance) even if you don’t feel it necessary at the time.

If that doesn’t work, there’s always the old school way to prevent conception: PULL OUT!

theres evidence neem oil works. i think you can use neem oil capsules, i know they were used in at least one study. try googling for it; it is a method used in other countries. added benefit of being reversible (stop taking them, and count goes back to normal after 6 weeks or so). it takes about 6 weeks to be effective too, though.

Anything containing estrogen-like properties, like lots of soy milk and soy products. However, you might grow boobs.

Other non pill methods include spermacidal foams, diaphram and IUD.

If you are breaking condoms, you need to use more lube or buy prelubricated condoms with extra lube.
