OMG! I love learning about herbs and their uses! I went to the library and took out some books on them. I know of a place that has courses but its in Philadelphia. Check your yellow pages (I think NY has that) and search under herbs and find the names of some places that you could search online for their website to see if they give classes. Thats what I did about the Apothecary Garden! =]
i agree herbs are useful! for many things, flavoring cuisine, smoking, clothe fibers…=)
Go to the library and get some books. Then get a terrarium and start gowing herbs of your choice. I am currently growing basil successfully.
